Our two year ITP will help you grow and develop into a strategic HR Business Partner, where you will shape the people and business agenda and influence the building of a performance culture at ING.
Does this inspire you? Are you prepared to take it on and make it happen, help others to be successful and always be a step ahead? If your answer is yes, then this is the programme for you!
Make an impact as a trainee
As a HR Trainee at ING, you can make a real difference. We expect you to be enterprising and eager to learn, that you seek out opportunities for collaboration in order to achieve optimal results, and that you develop and share your own vision. We are eager to see you deliver results – all right from day one of your traineeship.
As a HR Trainee, you’re expected to quickly get to grips with the business environment. Whatever your assignment may be, we hand you plenty of responsibility right from the start.
Your first year: rotations in HR and People Analytics
To become a strong HRBP after two years in the programme, you will start in our People Services team where you will contribute to build a differentiating employee experience through accessibility and speed of delivery of people processes.
After six months, you move to our People Analytics team where you will help ING use sophisticated analytical techniques to turn HR and people data into useful insights to improve ING's performance. More than just data, analytics is also about identifying patterns that will improve our understanding of human behaviour. It opens up new possibilities for how we serve our customers and is set to transform the way we inspire, engage and build the capabilities of our people.
Your second year: rotations in Performance and Rewards & Talent and Learning
In your second year, you will work in our Centre of Expertise (CoE) Performance & Rewards team. The goal here will be to empower the business with solutions and expertise that drive business results. You will also work in our CoE Talent & Learning team, where we create inclusive solutions that attract, develop and grow talent, to build the craftsmanship and engagement of everyone at ING.
One of your rotations will be abroad. Many of our trainees choose to go Amsterdam where the ING headquarter is and where you can put the knowledge you gained during your first rotations to good use.
After two years:
In the first two years, you’ll enhance your knowledge and hone your skills throughout your rotations in HR, People Analytics and our COEs. After two years, you’ll continue to grow and develop and take on a HRBP role of a small business account.
