Your role & work environment

As a key player in the Leadership Team for KYC Operations, you will act as main driver for the strategic change tracks. Together with the team of Segment Coordinators, the Quality Lead, Process Lead & Lead Business Analytics, your role will be pivotal in the organization of change tracks,  monitoring progress as well as facilitating execution and implementation. Your contribution will be both in the organization and set-up of our KYC operations as well as in how we can further strengthen our way of working.

On a day-to-day basis, your role will vary from organizing, preparing and facilitating meetings, workshops or presentations to actively propose and implement improvements. For a number of  change tracks or pilots, you will be end-responsible for realizing progress and implementing the strategic plans. You have a specific focus on ensuring the project documentation and governance is kept up to date and used with maximum effectiveness.

Every project starts from the desire to continuously improve our KYC operations. Therefore, you will build your own understanding of the content and operations, together with the Leadership team to quickly identify the needs and solve the challenge. From conceptual thinking, over the identification of all stakeholders, to making it actionable and data-driven, is where your key contribution will be.

That also means that you are actively building bridges within the leadership team, towards Tribe and ING Hubs and with other departments in our organization.

Your key responsibilities

• Drive a variety of projects (both strategic and execution) within KYC operations
• Advise and support the entire KYC Operations Leadership team in developing our KYC Operations to the next level of maturity in project management (documentation, follow-up, governance)
• Plan and prepare meetings, workshops and presentations and represent KYC Operations in different, strategic meetings
• Being a trusted provider of high quality information to drive informed decision making;
• Understanding and monitoring performance drivers behind implementing change and the ”pulse” of the department;
• Acting as a linking pin with various stakeholders, to enable effective and efficient operations.

As a Change Lead KYC Operations you will, preferably, also need: 

·    Master’s degree or equivalent

·    Program Management: sound experience in execution of strategic projects

·    Good understanding of AML/KYC and operational risks or willing to invest

·    Strong combination of customer-focus and operational management insight

·    Experience in preparing management information and presentations

·    Can-do mentality combined with a natural stakeholder management reflex

·    Collaborative skills that allow you to work independently and as a real team player when needed

·    Strong analytical skills and execution capabilities;

·    Ability to take responsibility, steer strategy and realizations based on facts and data;

·    Strong resilience; ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexity;

·    High level of confidentiality where needed

·    Good written and verbal communications skills in English, French & Dutch
