Our Mortgages Tribe drives the end-to-end performance of the mortgages business by shaping strategy and fostering cross-functional execution. As part of the multi-year Mortgage Originations Transformation (MOT) project, we are revolutionizing how ING originates mortgages through key initiatives.
We’re seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join the Mortgage Originations Transformation project team.
As our ideal candidate, you’ll leverage your project management and governance expertise to ensure timely and compliant delivery of critical initiatives.
You will have responsibility for managing project delivery, resource allocations, risks and issues, project governance, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
- Manage forecasts, resource allocations, vendor agreements and invoicing..
- Maintain accurate delivery roadmaps, and track milestones,and dependencies with Delivery Leads.
- Track RAIDD items ensuring clear actions, owners, and escalation paths.
- Ensure adherence to frameworks, processes, and quality standards.
- Develop governance documents, communications, and status reports on time.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet expectations and business needs.
- Enhance MOT and ING project management capabilities.
- Support Mortgage Originations Transformation to align with strategic goals.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO, specifically managing project financials. (Banking and / or Mortgages experience highly regarded).
- Relevant Project Management certification (PMI, Prince2, AIPM).
- Excellent project management skills with expertise in agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Intermediate proficiency in other Microsoft tools. .
- Proven experience delivering large, multi-project initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with strong collaboration across business and technology.
- Recent financial services experience.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong influencing, communication, and time management skills.
- Team player capable of meeting tight deadlines.
